Pokemon Go Remote Raids Damage to be Permanently Increased, Now is Same as In-Person Raids Damage

Trainers, this is just in! Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that they are increasing the damage dealt by Pokemon participating in Remote Raids. The interesting thing is that this change is permanent.

Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the next Season of Pokemon Go, Hidden Gems, and revealed the next events, and bonuses. June 2023 is the first month of the Hidden Gems Season, and trust me, this month looks promising.

June 2023 brings new Pokemon, shiny forms, and different Pokemon in Raids. During Spotlight Hours and Raid Hours, Pokemon Go players will also have a chance to encounter different Pokemon and enjoy exclusive bonuses.

They announced the Seasonal Bonuses, but what got our attention is the following:

Previously a temporary Seasonal bonus, the damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids remotely will be permanently increased to the same amount of damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids in person.”

Yes, you read that right. Remote Raid damage is no longer a temporary Seasonal bonus, it’s permanent.

What do you think about this change? Do you like it? We would like to hear from you, so please leave a comment below.

  1. The plan all along was never about going back to the company’s vision.
Niantic KNOWS they got tons of money from Remote Raids. So, they wanted to boost profit by increasing the price.
Their biggest mistake in this whole elaborate ruse was their leaders had awful communication skills and didn’t know how to sugarcoat their ‘excuse’. And that ended up insulting fans instead (Singaporean grandma, huh?).
