Trainers, this is just in! Niantic and Pokemon Go announced that they are increasing the damage dealt by Pokemon participating in Remote Raids. The interesting thing is that this change is permanent.
Niantic and Pokemon Go announced the next Season of Pokemon Go, Hidden Gems, and revealed the next events, and bonuses. June 2023 is the first month of the Hidden Gems Season, and trust me, this month looks promising.
June 2023 brings new Pokemon, shiny forms, and different Pokemon in Raids. During Spotlight Hours and Raid Hours, Pokemon Go players will also have a chance to encounter different Pokemon and enjoy exclusive bonuses.
They announced the Seasonal Bonuses, but what got our attention is the following:
“Previously a temporary Seasonal bonus, the damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids remotely will be permanently increased to the same amount of damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids in person.”
Yes, you read that right. Remote Raid damage is no longer a temporary Seasonal bonus, it’s permanent.
