Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Dominates US Software Sales in April

The latest addition to EA‘s action-adventure games, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, has topped the US software sales chart in April amidst a flurry of new chart entrants. The game clinched the number one spot on the monthly chart based on two days of sales.

Despite the limited time window, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor demonstrated its immense popularity, now ranking as the fourth best-selling game of 2023. April proved to be a month of significant activity in the gaming world, with seven of the month’s top 15 best-selling games being new releases.

Dead Island 2 debuted at no.2, ranking sixth in year-to-date dollar sales. PGA Tour, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Minecraft Legends, Final Fantasy 1-6 Bundle, and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-boot Camp also emerged among the top 15.

In console sales, PS5 led the market in dollar sales, while Nintendo Switch was the top-selling console in units sold. The launch of the Zelda Switch OLED model contributed significantly to this success, with Circana analyst Mat Piscatella noting its significant impact. Below is the table for April 2023 Top 20 best-selling premium games.
