The Silph Road Announcing End of Service, Subreddit To Stay Active

A time has come that we didn’t predict, and that time is the end of The Silph Road. Even though we don’t want to believe this, it indeed is true.
Moments ago, it was announced that The Silph Road team is ending their services after extraordinary seven years of delivering awesomeness. The reason behind this is Niantic’s sponsorship, which has come to an end this year. As The Silph Road team stated, “all good things must come to an end.” Because of Niantic’s help, we have had ad-free Silph Road services, which were a great feature. Now, all of that will be left in the past.
Beginning this week, every service provided by The Silph Road’s team will slowly go to ashes, however, the r/TheSilphRoad subreddit is not included in this.
Here is the official Tweet published by TheSilphRoad:
All good things must come to an end. After 7 glorious years, The Silph Road Team is ceasing operations. Thank you to everyone who traveled the Road over the years. Together we wrote this place into Pokémon history.

The announcement has come to many sad reactions, and here is a part of them:
“Thank you so much for everything that the Silph team has done. I would struggle to imagine myself and our community getting to where we are today without the tremendous efforts of The Silph Road and everyone on board.”
The Silph Road has been an invaluable resource for so many of us over the last seven years. It’s been quite a ride.”
From the entire FGR team, we say big thanks to The Silph Road team, and we have to express gratitude for their service in all of these seven great years.
