Warzone 2 Nerfs Thermal Optics, Cold-Blooded Now Works as Intended
It was about time the Warzone 2 devs implemented some restrictions to thermal scopes in Ranked Play to balance the gameplay. In this case, thermal optics have been tinkered with because they have unintentionally allowed players to see those with the Cold-Blooded perk through smoke grenades. The specific thermal optics that have been affected by these restrictions are:
- SZ Holotherm
- VX350 Thermal Optic
- Teplo-op3 Scope
- Thermo-Optic X9
- Teplo Clear Shot
- Drexsom Prime-90
These changes will likely significantly impact game strategy and meta as players adjust to these new rules and restrictions. The developers actively monitor the game balance and respond to the community’s feedback and needs.
