Pokemon Go Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, and Giovanni New Shadow Pokemon and Counters

Team Go Rocket is back with its menacing ways of disturbing the peaceful Pokemon Go world. What are they doing this time? What Shadow Pokemon are they using? How can we defeat the Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff, and the Team Go Rocket Boss Giovanni? Well, worry not, we got you covered.

Team Go Rocket is back in Pokemon Go for another Team Go Rocket takeover event. This time they appear more often in balloons and PokeStops, using different, much stronger Shadow Pokemon than before. Arlo uses Shadow Aipom, Sierra uses Shadow Geodude, and Cliff uses Shadow Aerodactyl as their first Shadow Pokemon. Giovanni still uses Shadow Persian as his first choice, but this time we must save Shadow Regirock.

Giovanni, the ultimate boss, uses the most powerful Shadow Pokemon, and this time he has Shadow Regirock, a Pokemon that most Trainers want to obtain no matter what. Not that other Pokemon are not worth saving, but Shadow Regirock is pure gold to have. However, to get to Giovanni, first, you must defeat several Grunts. This will lead you to the Team Go Rocket Leaders. There are three of them, and each one has its difficulty level. These Leaders are Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra.

As we mentioned, you must defeat several Grunts to get to the Leaders. This means that you need six Mysterious Components, which are rewarded after a victory from your side, and these components make Rocket Radar. You need the Rocket Radar to encounter Giovanni.

Each Team Go Rocket member uses a variety of Shadow Pokemon, and to beat them you need to adapt your team. But many are wondering, what is the optimal Pokemon team to beat Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, and Giovanni.

Fear not, we are here to help you with that. Here is a list of Shadow Pokemon used by Team Go Rocket and what Pokemon are the best encounters for each of these Shadow Pokemon.
