Trainers, the Dark Flames is a new event introduced in Pokemon Go featuring two new Pokemon, Turtonator and Mega Sableye, cool event-exclusive bonuses, a Branching Timed Research, and a Collection Challenge.
The new Dark Flames Collection Challenge depends on which path one has chosen for the Branching quest. For example, if you choose the Dark-type Pokemon path, you will end up getting a Collection Challenge with Dark-type encounters, and vice versa.
The Dark Flames brings Turtonator and Mega Sableye into the game, so make sure to participate and get yourself a Shiny Turtonator and Shiny Mega Sableye.
