Pokemon Go Niantic and Microsoft Considered Joining Forces, But Nothing Happened

Trainers, Microsoft considered acquiring Niantic back in 2021, but unfortunately, they never closed the deal.
The Verge revealed that Microsoft considered taking on Niantic and other major gaming companies. Microsoft’s internal April 2021 merger review document shows Niantic on their final watchlist, but unfortunately, this never happened.
This deal, this collaboration could change a lot of things, hopefully positively, and Pokemon Go players believe that it’s never too late and any time is a good time for a change. Let’s be real, the game got off to a bad start. After a few years, Pokemon Go started breaking records until someone decided to rebel, have their way, and not listen to the community.
They decided to change many things, in our opinion for the worse, and slowly, slowly began to destroy the last thing that makes us happy. And what for? It’s all for their benefit, and you will all agree that it is not fair in the slightest. However, whether we like it or not, and of course, no one is asking, we continued to play the game and enjoy every moment.
I know how much it hurts when you devote so much time, attention, and money to something you do with love (I’m talking specifically about Pokemon Go), and out of nowhere, they put barricades that you can’t cross and cost money that you can’t afford to spend.
“Hitman developer IO Interactive was also on the “final watchlist” in 2021, alongside mobile companies like Thunderful, Supergiant Games, Niantic, Playrix, and Zynga.”
Pokemon is my childhood, something that calms me down, something I enjoy doing every day. All these things every single player wants to enjoy, and somehow this may sound funny, but I think if Microsoft bought Niantic, I believe Pokemon Go would have gone far and had no equal.
Unfortunately, Microsoft didn’t acquire Niantic.
