Pokemon Go Niantic Revokes Increased Pokemon Spawn Distance as a Permanent Update

A few days ago, it was reported that the range for wild spawns has been increased, and with the recent update, every Trainer can use it and enjoy it. A Niantic representative confirmed this will be a permanent feature coming with the 0.275.0 update, but they changed their mind, deleted the confirmation from Niantic’s representative, and now say that the increased spawn range is an unintended effect of a bug fix intended to improve the Pokémon encounter experience when your device is experiencing GPS drift.
