Trainers, Pokemon Go Routes are on the way, and it seems like we must follow some rules and not get a ban, or permaban. Yes, that’s right, breaking the Player Guidelines for Routes can get you permabanned.
In the Pokemon world Routes are known to be a passage. This passage can be used by Trainers and others to travel between locations faster. In Pokemon Go, Routes can be used as a path for Trainers to walk on, complete tasks, and earn rewards.
Pokemon Go Routes must have a start and end point. The Routes must be between 0,5km/0,3 miles and 20km/12,4 miles. Pokemon Go Routes must have names and descriptions, and players can place pins along a Route to highlight something interesting.
Now, the world’s greatest miners discovered a text about bans for breaking the Player Guidelines for Routes and were kind enough to share their discovery with the rest of the Pokemon Go community. Please have in mind that the Routes are not yet available in Pokemon Go, but they seem very strict about the new feature. After reading the text, it’s better to avoid Routes, than to lose any progress.

Yikes. Sounds like I should avoid these like the plague, cuz knowing Niantic, I’ll catch a ban even for playing normally.
I can’t understand why the game is still successful, they’ve made it clear they hate disabled people like myself, and like typical silicon valley tech bros, not only view rural people as “lesser”, they seem to think that children can afford the real world money items like adults (it’s illegal to sell personal data from minors so they can’t use that excuse), and adults have unlimited free time and the freedom to drop everything at a moment’s notice and form a raid party, like children.
These people don’t live in reality.
AMEN, I HAVE MS and hard to get around, have relapses that keep me totally reclusive, so doing the tasks that require going out everyday is almost impossible and hands have neuropathy and issues with some requied motions. I don’t think there is any hate towards the disabled, any more than the creators of any physical-activity-based game. Football teams and jogging apps don’t hate people unable to enjoy the activity.
Re: the financial costs, I’ve got to level 28 without spending any real world money. I do buy items from the shop sometimes, but that’s using the coins I earn in game. The price of most of the in-app purchases are still within the means of most kids who receive an allowance, but those purchases are unnecessary.
Yall do realize you don’t HAVE to go outside all the time to play right? You being disabled means nothing in this case. It has nothing to do with the article in the first place. Still don’t know what their rules are.

What do you expect from a PHYSICAL DEMANDING GAME? They made the game with the intention to get people to go out and be active.
Not stay inside regardless of your physical handicaps.
If you think that you can play pokemon go while being disabled to the same degree as fit healthy normal person, then youre delusional and I encourage you to force yourself to stay bedridden or never leave your house and play the game.
Niantic is a baffling company.
They kept insisting proclaiming their company value and vision, even though it’s obvious what they have always wanted was the extra revenue from the price increase.
Instead of working extra to prevent spoofing, they block and reduce remote raids, which are a legit version of spoofing. And then bring it back again, just to promote regionals like Lake Guardians.
Moreover, they always find ways to ban players, but again, not spoofers, but legit players who probably don’t even do anything wrong.
Never consistent. Always end up pissing players off. It makes sense why many can deduce they don’t even play the game.
While you don’t explain routes very well, I think I get the gist of their idea. Why would anyone use them? We all already have routes we follow, I have one route that takes me past around 100 stops/gyms to collect balls and such. Maybe Niantic should just spend more time IMPROVING the game and less time trying to control the way players choose to play the game.
Now Niantic that’s something that will lose your players of Pokemon go. the last 3 major updates are the start of the game’s downfall and this next one will be the end for most people who live in rural areas
You can not accidentally get banned. First you have to agree with their route guidelines (hard to accidentally hit accept) then you need to intentionally break the rules.
Easiest way to not get banned: don’t voluntarily break the rules
