Trainers, update v0.275.1 is now live, and this update reverts the wild Pokemon spawn radius back to 40m.
Niantic and Pokemon Go increased the wild spawn radius from 40m to 80m for a short period of time. Some players had a chance to try it and enjoy it for some time. Those who tried it, say this is the best thing that could’ve happened to Pokemon Go since the launch of the game.
That was fast enough, don’t you think? We didn’t know they work so fast when it comes down to getting rid of something that’s good for all of us. Usually they need few days, to month, or sometimes years to fix something.
275.1 reverts Pokemon Spawn Increase

After launching update 0.275, they confirmed the increased wild spawn radius is permanent, but today they decided to reverse it.
Pokemon Go content creators were kind enough to share the good news first, but after today’s decision, they are getting backlash.
