July’s PlayStation Plus Essential Games Now Available, Led by CoD Black Ops Cold War

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the release of its first batch of PlayStation Plus Essential games for July. This month’s offering includes the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling: Extinction is Forever. These games are available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and can be claimed by subscribers until July 31.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the entry-level tier of Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service, which offers a monthly selection of free games as long as you’re a subscription service member. This month, yes, many surprises and good hits are available to player’s hands.

The collection features a mix of action, horror, and adventure genres. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, continues the top-rated Call of Duty franchise with a gripping Cold War-themed storyline.

Alan Wake Remastered is a chilling action-adventure game from Remedy Entertainment that features a suspenseful narrative and a unique light-based combat system.

Meanwhile, Endling: Extinction is Forever from Herobeat Studios presents an emotional survival adventure as players guide the last mother fox through a world devastated by human activity.
