It seems that Pokemon-focused content creators have been a target in the recent ban wave happening on Instagram, and it looks kind of suspicious if you ask us.
The problem was brought to light by the Pokemon TCG community, and from there on, several important Pokemon creators had their accounts wiped out from Instagram.
One of the largest creators out there, PokeRev, has reported that he got his account banned, and he found out via email, where Instagram urges him to “take action”. The reason stated in the email is “not following our community guidelines”. Nonsense.
Several other Pokemon creators, among them being PokiChloe and PokeDean, have had their Instagram accounts permanently banned. All of them reached out to Instagram, but with no luck.
Nobody knows what is actually happening. It is a strange thing to happen, mainly because all of these Pokemon creators are family-focused, several of them attended Pokemon-related events and did not violate any community guidelines or whatsoever.
