Pokemon Go 7th Anniversary Poster Hints at New Pokemon, Zygarde, and Alcremie Possible Release in 2023

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating their seventh anniversary featuring a new special in-game event, Shiny Mew, and a cool poster. The poster got our attention, as it may hint at the release of new Pokemon in Pokemon Go.

The Pokemon Go 7th anniversary artwork looks amazing. The person behind it did a very good job, and we admire it. Now, let’s get back to the possible new releases into the game. Well, I say possible because last year, on the 6th-anniversary poster, we had Mega Mewtwo and Mega Lucario, but we are still waiting for their Pokemon Go debut.

As you already know, Niantic and Pokemon Go celebrate their 7th anniversary with a special in-game event, two new costume Pokemon, new Field Research and Timed Research, and Shiny Mew via All-in-One #151 Masterwork Research. On top of that, they released a new poster, featuring new Pokemon.

The seventh-anniversary poster shows the following new Pokemon, well the ones we can see:

  • Hisuan Goodra
  • Hisuian Liligant
  • Naganadel
  • Zygarde 10%
  • Alcremie
  • Mimikyu
  • Hatenna
  • Paldea starters

Please have in mind that this doesn’t prove anything, and we might not get these Pokemon in 2023.

We are looking forward to seeing the new Pokemon in the game, so fingers crossed for Zygarde 10% and Alcremie first.
