Pokémon GO Missing Routes, Players Have Not Seen a Single Route and Don’t Have the Option To Create One Either

Niantic, the mastermind behind the hugely popular Pokémon GO game, recently introduced a highly anticipated feature called Routes. However, players have expressed their disappointment, claiming that not everyone got a chance to find or create Routes.
Routes in Pokémon GO are pre-defined paths that players can follow while exploring the virtual world. These paths are carefully curated and can be created either by Niantic or by fellow Trainers. As players traverse these Routes, they may encounter various Pokémon and discover valuable Items. Completing Routes rewards players with badges associated with each Route, featuring a custom photo from the starting or ending point.
The introduction of Routes brought a wave of excitement among Pokémon GO players. The prospect of exploring predefined paths with the promise of rewards and badges added a fresh dimension to the game. Many Trainers eagerly anticipated the opportunity to embark on new adventures and immerse themselves in the world of Routes.
To celebrate the launch of the Routes feature, Niantic and Pokémon GO organized the Blaze New Trails event. This event marked the debut of Zygarde, a legendary Pokémon that players could encounter exclusively through the Special Research titled “From A to Zygarde.” Completing all tasks in this Special Research is key to encountering Zygarde.
As players dove into the Blaze New Trails event, they encountered a significant roadblock. Two tasks in the Zygarde Special Research required following Routes, “Follow Three and Five Routes.” However, players faced the perplexing issue of not being able to locate any Routes or access the option to create one.
Some Pokémon GO players had the chance to create Routes early on, but their excitement turned to frustration as they discovered that their Routes were stuck in the review process. For nearly a month, they awaited approval from Niantic and Pokémon GO, longing for the chance to share their curated paths with the community. Please have in mind that only Niantic can approve Routes.
On the other hand, numerous Trainers reported that they didn’t even have the option to create a Route, leaving them feeling left out of this new feature altogether. The inability to participate in Route creation diminished their enthusiasm for the Blaze New Trails event.
The absence of Routes and the option to create them sparked confusion and concern among players. Many questioned why an event centered around Routes would lack such a fundamental aspect of the feature.
Niantic acknowledged the players’ frustrations and concerns surrounding Routes. They assured the community that they are actively investigating the issues and are committed to resolving them promptly. The developers recognized the significance of Routes in enhancing the Pokémon GO experience and are working diligently to ensure that all Trainers can fully enjoy the feature.
Routes in Pokémon GO represent a promising addition to the game, offering players predefined paths to explore, rewarding encounters, and unique badges. However, the delayed availability of Routes and issues with route creation have dampened the initial excitement. Niantic’s commitment to addressing player concerns and enhancing the feature instills hope for a brighter and more fulfilling Route-based experience for all Pokémon GO Trainers.
No routes in my area, and I don’t have the option to create a route.
