Pokemon Go New UK Rules Might Make Niantic Reveal Drop Rates and Shiny Odds

Some new development has risen, and to be honest, we are a little bit worried.

Recently, UKIE (UK Interactive Entertainment) has made an important announcement regarding the Loot Boxes, and we all know that Pokemon Go is filled with them. As part of the announcement, it requires Niantic to reveal actual drop rates of the Loot Boxes and the odds of Trainers getting a Shiny in Pokemon Go.

The association that represents UK gaming companies has brought to light a new rule, where video game publishers and developers must provide easily accessible information. This rule might uncover the Shiny odds in Pokemon Go, something that we have all been waiting for a long time.

The rule is not mandatory yet, but that time will come too, as the UK is taking every guideline quite seriously. But we are now waiting for Niantic’s reaction on this: will Niantic comply to the rules, or take Pokemon Go away from the UK app markets?

Big thanks to u/Magikarpal for this post.
