Pokemon Go Shimmering Strides Timed Research Quest Awards Carbink Shoes Avatar Item
Trainers, a new Timed Research is available in Pokemon Go and to access it you must have a Go Fest 2023 ticket.
Pokemon Go Fest 2023 will run in different cities across the globe, and players can look forward to two gameplay areas in each town. The Go Fest 2023 will take place in London, England; Osaka, Japan; and NYC, USA. London and Osaka Go Fest will go live on August 4, 5, and 6, 2023, while the NYC will run on August 18, 19, and 20. Pokemon Go players can also enjoy a two-day Go Fest 2023 Global event on August 26, and August 27, 2023.
Niantic and Pokemon Go offer two different Timed Research storylines for those who have a Go Fest 2023 ticket. The first Timed Research, featuring Carbink can no longer be claimed, as the ticket is no longer available.
NOTE: Make sure to complete the Carbink Timed Research before August 26, at 9 AM local time.
“Trainers who purchase a Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global ticket by July 5 – and play between June 21 and July 5 – will receive Timed Research that awards an encounter with Carbink! Be one of the first to discover this Timed Pokémon, which shares the Jewel Pokémon category with Diancie! Carbink will also appear in Field Research encounters for all Trainers during the global event on August 26 and 27!”
The second Timed Research, Shimmering Strides is now available for ticket holders, and for those who get the ticket by August 1, 2023. Check out the tasks and rewards below.

- Explore 1km: 1 Super Incubator
- Hatch 2 Eggs: Exeggcute
- Spin 10 PokeStops or Gyms: 500 Stardust
- Complete 5 Field research tasks: 1 Poffin
- Earn 3 Candies walking with your Buddy: 1 Rocket Radar
- Rewards: 3 Golden Razz Berry, Carbink Shoes, and 3000 XP
