Pokemon Go Update 0.277.1 Breaks Go Plus+ Automatic Functionalities, Don’t Update Yet

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go have resolved the auto-catch glitch in the latest update version 0.277.1, but a new issue has emerged.
The Pokemon Go Plus+ device is the latest gadget that allows players to automatically catch Pokemon using PokeBalls, GreatBalls, and UltraBalls. It also enables automatic spinning of PokeStops. Recently, Pokemon Go players reported a glitch in the auto-catch feature. This glitch allowed players to disable auto-throw while still remaining in auto mode and using GreatBalls and UltraBalls.
Niantic and Pokemon Go have acknowledged the problem and released update 0.277.1 to address the auto-catch glitch. However, this update, unfortunately, disrupts the automatic functionality of the Pokemon Go Plus+ device. Despite having auto-catch and auto-spin activated, users are still required to physically press a button upon connecting the device.
Fortunately, there is a workaround to make it function properly. Follow these simple steps as suggested by HappyViet:
“Start with the device disconnected from your phone, ensure auto-catch is off, connect the device, and then enable auto-catch. This should restore the auto-catch functionality. Auto-spin, on the other hand, works immediately when auto-catch is off and the device is connected.”
0.277.1 breaks PoGo Plus + automatic functionalities. Do not update.

Please refrain from updating the game to version 0.277.1 as it breaks the automatic features of Pokemon Go Plus+.
