Batman: Arkham Trilogy Swings Onto Nintendo Switch This October

Warner Bros. Games has officially announced the launch of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch. Fans can embark on a dark journey through Gotham City starting October 13th.

Initially unveiled in June, the Batman: Arkham Trilogy is set to include all three groundbreaking titles – Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Additionally, to sweeten the deal, all the expansions for these three epic games will be part of the bundle.

Beginning in 2009, Arkham Asylum introduced players to a fresh, immersive story, unraveling Joker’s malicious plans within the confines of the notorious asylum. Coupled with confrontations against iconic adversaries like Harley Quinn, Bane, and Scarecrow, the game set a new standard for superhero video games.

Its 2011 sequel, Arkham City, broadened the playground to encompass a wider expanse of Gotham City. This title saw the Dark Knight cross paths with a formidable rogues’ gallery, including legends like Mr. Freeze and The Penguin. Batman: Arkham Knight (2015) added another layer of excitement with a transformable Batmobile, ready for players to spin around the city streets.

Turn Me Up Games, the studio credited with successful Nintendo Switch versions of It Takes Two and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, is taking charge of this highly anticipated port. Given their track record, Switch users can expect a meticulously crafted adaptation of the Arkham series.

This trilogy offers a robust Batman experience for newcomers to the series, masterfully blending hard-hitting combat with stealth missions and intricate puzzles. And for those who’ve already patrolled the alleys of Arkham on other platforms, this is an opportunity to relive the saga in a fresh, portable format. While some might find cheaper alternatives on other platforms, the allure of a handheld Gotham might be hard to resist.
