Escape From Tarkov Arena Reveals First-Look Gameplay Trailer

Battlestate Games recently published the first-look gameplay trailer for their highly anticipated project, Escape From Tarkov Arena, at Gamescom 2023. Recently, the website for Tarkov Arena was launched, allowing those who don’t have the game to pre-order it, which means it will be here sooner rather than later.

This stand-alone game is set to combine the hardcore mechanics of the original Escape From Tarkov with fast-paced multiplayer action. The trailer can be found below:

Tarkov Arena plunges players into intense gladiatorial combat in various arenas throughout Tarkov. Organized by a mysterious group of Arena Masters and led by the Host, these matches promise to deliver adrenaline-fueled excitement.

As we have said previously, the game will have multiple game maps and modes, including character integration, skill-based matchmaking, and more.

Game Modes and Locations

  • Shootout – Round robin tournament – each team plays against each other in solo, duo or trio modes. The two teams with the most victory points meet in the final to determine the winner of the tournament.
  • Teamfight – 2 teams of 5 players fight for victory in 7 rounds. Capturing objective points on the map after the timer expires will also lead to victory in the round.
  • Overrun – PvE missions for 5 players. The goal of the team is to clear the location from waves of enemies, complete the given objective and evacuate to a safe zone.
  • Last Hero – Deathmatch between multiple players. The goal of each player is to score the most kills in the allotted time.
  • Duel

Currently, four out of the planned seven battlefields are available:

  • Sawmill – An old private sawmill on the outskirts of Tarkov. Rumored to be a concealed back-up TerraGroup Labs command post with an autonomous control system.
  • Bay5 – A former TerraGroup Labs secure cargo warehouse in the port area. An iconic location with a new look.
  • Air Pit – A terminal hall of the city airport, transformed by local thugs into the Arena for death fights.
  • Equator – A makeshift Arena for gladiator fights, redesigned out of the Equator-2 shopping mall.
  • The Bawl
  • The Box
  • Resort

Character Integration and Customization

Tarkov Arena will integrate gear and progression into the core Escape From Tarkov experience, offering players a range of equipment presets based on their rank and role.

Skill-based Ranking

Skill-based ranking ensures that players are matched against opponents of similar skill level, fostering fair and competitive gameplay.

Beta Test and Pre-Order Information

A highlight of the launch is the upcoming Tarkov Arena Beta test. For those interested in pre-ordering, the game is available for €37.00, with unique gear from The Chronicles of Ryzhy series protagonist included as a bonus.
