The “Adventures Abound” season has just kicked off, and let me tell you – it’s got plenty to keep you on your toes for the next three months. Expect a smorgasbord of Field Research tasks, coveted rewards, and even the chance to encounter Pokémon in their shiny forms.

If you’re not up to speed, Field Research has been an integral part of Pokémon GO since 2018. The beauty lies in the tasks; complete them, and you’ve got yourself some one-of-a-kind rewards and Research Breakthroughs. For long-time fans and newcomers alike, Field Research provides those gotta-catch-’em-all feels all over again.

Remember the times when Field Research tasks would rotate monthly? Yeah, we’re past that. Since the Season of Hidden Gems was introduced in June 2023, Pokémon GO switched to a seasonal rotation for Field Research tasks. The exception, of course, is the ever-spinning Spinda, which still has its own special task that stands the test of time. This time we have Spinda #6.
