Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global Event Day One Verdict, Good Shiny Rates, Not So Good Catch Rates

Well, Trainers, we are really surprised. Like, really surprised. Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global event day one was a success, without any major hiccups.
Several Trainers reported that there were a lot of Shiny Pokémon available during day one, and a lot of them caught numerous Shiny Pokémon. We guess that the Shiny rate was ultra-boosted, which we are happy about. A Twitter user going by the name FleeceKing has reported that they have caught 45 Shiny Pokémon during day one, which had a duration of approximately eight hours.. This is an accomplishment that not many can do. Kudos to you, FleeceKing.
45 shinies for day one of Global Pokémon Go Fest 🥳 ✨
I was trying to find the balance between catching and raiding, I hope I was a good raid host for everyone, I tried my best to send a lot ☺️
8 and a half hour stream done! Thanks for hanging out today 🙏🏻 #PokemonGO pic.twitter.com/6f3tBh9UnY

Another Twitter user, going by the name Whylde_ has said that they have caught Shiny Pokémon, but the catch rate during day one was not so good. Or maybe, as they say, their skills aren’t as good as they thought they were.

Well, folks, we want to hear your opinion. How did day one go for you? How many Shiny Pokémon have you caught? Tell us in the comments below.
This has been my least favorite go fest to date. 1 shiny all day long and not really many special or hard to get Pokémon. Definitely not worth the money based on Day 1.
Terrible. 6 shinies the entire day and I was outside, playing hard. 0 shinies on day 2. Definitely not worth the money.
