Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global Event Details Revealed, Habitats and Ultra Unlock Bonuses Included

Pokémon GO is just days away from its biggest and brightest event, and that event is no other than Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global event.

Starting August 26th, 2023, and ending August 27th, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day, Trainers will have the chance to get together virtually with millions of Trainers from around the world and try to catch over 70 Pokémon.

Pokémon are not the only bonus during the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global event though. There will also be habitats, and Trainers can enjoy each habitat for nearly two hours a day.

The schedule for the habitats during the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global event is:

  • Quartz Terrarium – 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. local time; 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time
  • Pyrite Sands – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time; 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time
  • Malachite Wilderness – 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time; 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time
  • Aquamarine Shores – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time; 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time

The first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global event, which is August 26th, 2023, Trainers will be able to collect new Field Research tasks from PokeStops for each hour. Also on this day, the ticket-holding Trainers, during each habitat hour, can gather together and work towards the Global Challenge completion, and if it is finished in time, there will be a special bonus for the remainder of the hour.

If and only IF Trainers complete 20 challenges, they will be able to unlock the Ultra Unlock bonuses, something we all had the chance to enjoy during last year’s Pokémon GO Fest.

Now, let’s begin with the unknown. As always, there has to be something tied with those Ultra Unlocks that is yet to be revealed to Trainers, so with that in mind, here is what is revealed, but also not revealed:

The name of the event will be A ??? Adventure, and it will take place from September 5th, 2023, until September 10th, 2023. There will be one-star Raids with special Pokémon, an Ultra Unlock free Timed Research with a new Shiny Pokémon, as well as bonuses such as 4x Catch XP and 4x Catch Stardust.

The last part of the Ultra Unlock Bonuses is the special event called Ultra Unlock: ??? (not its actual name, will be revealed later) that will take place from September 10th, 2023, until September 15th, 2023. There will be debuts of a Bug-type Pokémon, an Electric-Type Pokémon, a Dragon-type Pokémon and an Ice-type Pokémon.

We have left the icing on the cake for last, and that is a feature that Trainers have been asking about for ages, literally. That our Trainers, is the Ready button in Raid Battles. Whenever you are ready to start the Raid Battle, all you have to do is to click on the button. Once all Trainers have clicked on it, the timer automatically starts counting down from ten seconds. If the Raid reaches its full capacity, the timer will immediately go down to ten seconds.

Are you excited? We surely are!
