Pokémon GO Players Discover New Type Of Ban, Exploiting XL Candy Leads To One Month Ban

Niantic is really quick to give out bans here and here for anything. While we not always agree with these actions, in this case, we do agree with Niantic to some extent.

Multiple Trainers have found a new way to “exploit” the newest feature in Pokémon GO, which is Routes. Apparently, players found a way around Routes, where they search for one where they can go up and down the route at any speed, but don’t complete it. This way, many gained hundreds of Candy without Niantic noticing for a long time.

Well, that is all about to change. Some players reported that they had earned a 30-day ban due to exploitation of the “bug” that got them a huge number of Candy in the game.
