Preorders Can Dive into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Campaign a Week Ahead of Launch
The Call of Duty franchise has been a household name in gaming for years, with each new release building anticipation. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is taking center stage this time. In a move that seems to be becoming a trend for Activision, players who preorder the game will be granted early access to the campaign seven days before the official launch.
According to a recently leaked marketing asset, not only will those who preorder get an early taste of the action in the campaign, but they will also gain entry to the game’s open beta. This early access is slated to begin around November 3, given that MW3 has an official release date of November 10. Those following the franchise will recall a similar tactic employed by Activision for 2022’s Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 3 picks up where its predecessor left off, chronicling the adventures of Task Force 141 as they rally together in their mission against Makarov. Beyond this, not many details about the storyline have surfaced, leaving fans eager.
Activision is set to unveil “Modern Warfare III” on August 17 formally. With this reveal, more specifics about the game, including the nature of the preorder bonuses and early access, should come to light. Notably, PlayStation users will likely be the first to enjoy the beta test. This early bird advantage is due to a special arrangement between PlayStation and Activision.
While Microsoft is in talks to acquire Activision Blizzard and the Call of Duty series, PlayStation enthusiasts need not worry. The game will remain available on PlayStation for at least a decade, regardless of the acquisition’s outcome.
Modern Warfare 3 will be available in two editions. While the Standard edition is priced at $70, there’s also the Vault Edition, which promises additional extras. These specifics are anticipated to be unveiled during the August 17 event.
Speaking of events, Warzone players can look forward to Shadow Siege on August 17. This in-game event is related to the MW3 reveal.
