Counter-Strike 2 is Finally Here, May The New Era Begin!

The day fans have been waiting for has arrived: Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is officially out. After much speculation, the game is now available for download. Adding to the excitement, a launch trailer has also been released, giving players a sneak peek into what to expect from this new installment.

The launch trailer offers a quick look into the game’s new features, maps, and weapons. It also shows off the improved graphics and gameplay mechanics, clarifying that CS2 aims to be a worthy successor to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. You can watch the trailer below:

Initial reviews from players who have managed to get their hands on the game are overwhelmingly positive. The graphics are sharper, the gameplay is smooth, and the new features add a fresh layer to the tried-and-true Counter-Strike formula.

The complete game size differs from the limited test and downloads approximately 6GB of additional data. Cheaters, prepare because there will be something new. VAC is supposed to be improved now!

Just a reminder: if you haven’t received the game or the CS Global Offensive name didn’t change to Counter-Strike 2, verify the integrity of game files. It should fix it.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
