It was a peaceful few weeks in the Pokémon GO world, but that ended quickly.
At this moment, there are many bans happening in the game, and many of them are quite unfairly given to players who didn’t do anything wrong. However, Niantic perceives literally everything in violation of their rules. Many of the problems started around the time when Niantic started implementing their anti-bot measures, in hopes of combating all the unfair things happening in Pokémon GO.
For instance, one of the popular creators in the Pokémon GO universe, PokéAK, explains how players are now getting banned for submitting bad PokéStops. He also explains a recent situation where an Ambassador for Niantic Wayfarer made some threats, which is not a good look for the company. PokéAK feels as if every decision that is made is in spite of players, and Niantic isn’t interested in what the Pokémon GO community is saying.
