Pokémon GO Frigibax is the rarest pseudo-Legendary from Paldea

Trainers, brace yourselves because the Paldea region has unleashed its second wave of Pokémon, and one creature is already making waves. We’re talking about Frigibax and its evolutions, Arctibax and Baxcalibur. Spoiler: you’re gonna want to catch ’em all.

First things first, Frigibax is making headlines as the newest rarest non-legendary Pokémon in the game. Seriously, its spawn rate is almost as rare as a Snorlax getting up on time. Plus, the creature holds the title for the lowest hatch rate in 10 km Eggs. So let’s say you caught a Frigibax. Now what? To evolve Frigibax into Arctibax, you’ll need 25 Frigibax Candy. Want to take it a step further? Another 100 Frigibax Candy will let you evolve Arctibax into the mighty Baxcalibur.

Baxcalibur isn’t just a cool name; it’s also a powerhouse. This final form boasts one of the highest stats in the Paldea region. Move-wise, Baxcalibur rocks Ice Fang and Avalanche for PvE and has Dragon Breath, Dragon Claw, and Avalanche for PvP. In short, it’s the best non-mega, non-shadow Ice attacker in the game, even outperforming Galarian Darmanitan.

For those unfamiliar, the term pseudo-legendary is a fan-coined phrase denoting any Pokémon with a three-stage evolution line. These Pokémon often outperform many other non-Legendary Pokémon due to their high base stats. Here are some of the other pseudo-legendaries you might recognize:
