Pokémon GO introduces new Paldea Region stars, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval

Hey Trainers, mark your calendars. The “Adventures Abound” season is in full swing, and Niantic is spicing things up with an all-new Paldea Adventure event. Starting September 5, 2023, your Pokedex is getting a much-needed shakeup with the introduction of fresh faces from the Paldea region. So let’s dive right into the nitty-gritty.
On the 5th of September, during the A Paldean Adventure event, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter and catch Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and the oh-so-rare Lechonk. Out of these new additions, Lechonk will be the only one that can be shiny. So, shiny hunters, prepare your lures and incense.
- Sprigatito → Floragato → Meowscarada: Starts with 25 Sprigatito Candy for the first evolution and ramps up to 100 Sprigatito Candy for the final form.
- Fuecoco → Crocalor → Skeledirge: Just like Sprigatito, you’ll need 25 Fuecoco Candy to evolve into Crocalor and 100 to reach Skeledirge.
- Quaxly → Quaxwell → Quaquaval: You’ll need 25 Quaxly Candy to hit Quaxwell, and another 100 for the final evolution into Quaquaval.
- Lechonk → Oinkologne: A modest 50 Lechonk Candy will evolve this chunky boi into Oinkologne.
After the event ends, keep an eye on those incubators. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly will hatch from 5 km Eggs, Lechonk will hatch from the more common 2 km Eggs, and Frigibax from 10 km Eggs.
