Pokémon GO October 2023 Community Day featuring Timburr and shiny Timburr

Trainers, if you’re not already keyed into Community Day, you’re missing out on a cornerstone of the Pokémon GO experience. This monthly event isn’t just about catching Pokémon, it’s about building community. Seriously, it’s a chance for us all to converge on local parks, make some new friends, and really dig into what makes being a Pokémon GO Trainer so darn special.

The drill is simple. Every month, Niantic rolls out the red carpet for a chosen Pokémon that’ll spawn more frequently for a few hours. Catch or evolve this VIP, and you’ll get a special move that you can’t find any other way. But hold on, the perks don’t stop there. We’re talking extra XP, boosted Stardust, quicker Egg hatching, and, my favorite, a higher chance of shinies. Oh, and let’s not forget those extended Lure Modules and Incense, both lasting a full three hours.

Niantic and Pokémon GO have officially announced that the next Community Day is scheduled for October 15, 2023. How do we know the featured Pokémon? Well, Timburr and Conkeldurr are listed in the PokéStop Showcases for the same day, from 2 to 5 p.m. local time. So, it’s pretty clear, Timburr will be the star of the October 2023 Community Day.
