Día de Muertos 2023 event bringing new debuts in Pokémon GO

To pay respects to the loved ones who moved on to another world is such a great thing. It is believed that their spirits never go away, but they travel to a whole different world.
Starting November 1, 2023, and ending November 2, 2023, Pokémon GO will be hosting a Día de Muertos 2023, where Trainers can celebrate their loved ones virtually too.
During this event, there will be two Costumed Pokémon debuts – Cubone wearing a cempasúchil crown, and a Marowak wearing a cempasúchil crown. Besides this, there will also be event bonuses that will be active, and they are the following:
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 90 minutes
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 90 minutes
- 2x Catch Candy
- Additional Candy for transferring Pokémon (only for Latin America and the Caribbean)
The wild encounters for the event will be the following:
- Sunkern
- Sableye
- Roselia
- Duskull wearing a cempasúchil crown
- Drifloon
- Litwick
- Cubone wearing a cempasúchil crown
- Yamask
- Phantump
The Pokémon that will be attracted to Incense and Lure Modules are the following:
- Sunkern
- Sunflora
- Houndour
- Sableye
- Roselia
- Duskull wearing a cempasúchil crown
- Drifloon
- Cubone wearing a cempasúchil crown
- Flabébé (orange)
As Field Research Task encounters, the following Pokémon will be available for encounters:

- Alolan Marowak
