If you’re a Fortnite PLAYER, you’ll be excited to hear that a new update has landed. The 26.30 version of the game rolled out on all platforms on October 10, bringing a whole set of new features. The update introduces this year’s Fortnitemares event, Halloween-themed collaborations, new weapons, and more. Here’s everything you need to know.

Fortnite leakers had hinted that this update would bring back the yearly Fortnitemares event, and it appears they were right. The event is a Halloween celebration that brings new skins, challenges, and gameplay features to the game.

A tweet by iFireMonkey set off some excitement by suggesting a partnership with the horror movie franchise Halloween. If true, this could mean that Michael Myers, the unforgettable terrible guy from the Halloween movies, will join the Fortnite world for the duration of the Fortnitemares event. Keep in mind that this has not been confirmed by Epic Games yet.

This update also introduces new augments to keep gameplay interesting:

Revamped Siphon: A renewed game mechanic.
Witchy Warrior: A mysterious new player character.
Trick or Treat: A new gameplay mode.
Random Mythic: Introduces a random mythic item into the game.
Super Charged: An enhanced game feature.
Pistol Damage: Increased damage for pistols.
