GO Battle Weekend: Geeta Timed Research storylines Pokémon GO, a chance to get six Rare Candy, three Rare XL Candy, and Elite Charged TM
Trainers, Pokémon GO is rolling out another special event, and this time it’s all about battles. Inspired by Geeta, the Top Champion from the Pokémon League in the Paldea region featured in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, this GO Battle Weekend is your chance to shine.
Bonuses for the weekend include quadrupled Stardust from win rewards, but note that this doesn’t stack with other Stardust bonuses. Plus, you’ll be able to engage in up to 100 battles each day.
Now, let’s talk about the free goodies. Free battle-themed Timed Research will be up for grabs, featuring rewards like the Geeta-Style Gloves avatar item. Additionally, for just a dollar, you can get a ticket for extra Timed Research awarding Stardust, Rare Candy XL, and one Star Piece. You can also gift these tickets to your Pokémon GO buddies if you’re at least Great Friends. Just remember, purchases are non-refundable. Each Timed Research features only one step, so feel free to see all tasks and rewards below.
Don’t forget, the Timed Research is-well-timed. Complete your tasks and claim your rewards before the clock strikes midnight on the last day, or they’re gone for good.
As for the leagues, the Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues will all be active. And for those following the premium track in the GO Battle League, expect some tasty changes. Trainers level 31 and up will get a guaranteed Rare Candy XL for their second win in a set, while Trainers level 30 and below will get a guaranteed Rare Candy. Plus, there will be more Stardust rewards than the basic track offers.
