LegacyKillaHD claims some devs don’t expect GTA VI to launch in 2024, and they don’t want a reveal this year

The franchise that marked our childhood, the games that were with us all those late nights, and now, we are on the verge of getting a new one (are we really?).

One of the most famous franchises in the gaming world, Gran Theft Auto, is on “the verge” of being expanded with one more title, GTA VI. Or so they say for months now. Many leaks have gone through and proven not to be true, but this last one intrigued me a little bit, to be honest.

From getting announced yesterday, to getting announced sometimes, we have a little piece of information about what might be happening in the Rockstar world.

According to LegacyKillaHD, the player claims that some devs of GTA VI do not even want an announcement of the game yet. As it is said, the game is still under development, with many unfinished touches, so an announcement would only add more to the pressure they have.

Plus, when you are announcing a game, you need to provide a release window, which makes things even more antagonizing and grave mistakes can be made when people are under pressure.

Naturally, when many don’t want a game to be announced, they don’t even expect it to be launched next year.

A kind reminder though that this is just a leak, and nothing is officially confirmed by Rockstar or any affiliated party to Rockstar.
