Pokémon GO from 100% to 0%, Zygarde evolution bug alert

In the world of Pokémon GO, trainers are constantly seeking new challenges and rewards, and many times, they succeed in it.

Zygarde, a mysterious and powerful Pokémon, has been a topic of interest for many. Some trainers have embarked on the journey to evolve Zygarde to its perfect form, which gets both excitement and caution.

Our dear content creator, PokéAK, has shared with us some experiences from a different Trainer, highlighting a puzzling issue that has emerged during this process. The tale begins with the successful evolution of Zygarde to its 100% form, a significant milestone. However, what follows is unexpected. Trainers are supposed to have the ability to switch Zygarde between its forms with a cost of 2,000 Stardust and 10 candies, akin to form-changing with Hoopa. But when the Trainer attempted to revert Zygarde back to a previous form, the result was astonishing. Zygarde became stuck in the dog-like form, and all the hard-earned cells invested in its evolution were lost.

The issue raises concerns and questions about the handling of new features in the game. While Niantic has a reputation for patching issues quickly, we do like to note that bug fixes are often expedited when they benefit the players but not when they hinder gameplay.

So we would advise you to go with caution when it comes to evolving Zygarde, especially when we all know how hard it is to get the items for the evolution itself.

Have you noticed any issues with Zygarde’s evolution? Or do you know anyone who encountered issues with this? Share with us in the comments below.

  1. My significant other cannot do routes at all. He starts them and they automatically pause. So he has not been able to catch any of the green cells 🙁 this will be an impossible Evo for him. And it’s disappointing

    1. I had the same exact issue. But I saw a post online somewhere that suggested turning off Adventure Sync in general settings, and that totally worked for me! So maybe it will for him too. It may ask to enable it again when you start the route, but just say no.
Also, now I’m able to create routes myself, ive noticed that that ironically requires Async to be ON, or you can’t create a route. Kinda dumb to have to switch it on/off like that, but that’s what’s been working for me.Good luck, how that helps someone
