The change of seasons is always a reason to celebrate, and Pokémon GO never misses an opportunity to host a party for Trainers to have fun.
In the past few days, we all have been hearing about an event called Harvest Festival, which is taking place in October 2023. Many of us wondered, what would this Harvest Festival event be about. Happy to report that we now have all the needed information.
Starting October 12, 2023, and ending October 17, 2023, Pokémon GO will be hosting an event called Harvest Festival, where the main focus will be on Grass-type Pokémon, among others.
Beginning with a Pokémon debut, Trainers will have the chance to encounter Smoliv, the Olive Pokémon, as well as its evolutions Dolliv and Arboliva. Keep in mind that you will need 25 Smoliv Candy to evolve it into Dolliv, while you would need 100 Smoliv Candy to evolve Dolliv into Arboliva.
The Pokémon that will be appearing more frequently during the Harvest Festival are the following:
- Red Flower Flabébé (Europe, the Middle East and Africa)
- Blue Flower Flabébé (Asia-Pacific region)
- Yellow Flower Flabébé (Pumpkaboo)
As Field Research task encounters, the Pokémon that will be available are:
- Plant Cloak Burmy
- Sand Cloak Burmy
- Trash Cloak Burmy
There will also be Harvest Festival Collection Challenges (possibly multiple), where Trainers will be rewarded XP, Stardust and Mossy Lure Modules upon completion. Fun, right?
If you are interested, there will also be a Ticket of Treats paid Timed Research, available to Trainers for $5 in the in-game shop. This special Timed Research will reward Trainers a Mossy Lure Module and encounters with Pumpkaboo.
The following bonuses will be active during the Harvest Festival event:
- Mossy Lure Modules activated during the event will last for two hours
- Mossy Lure Modules have a higher chance of attracting Pumpkaboo
- Trainers will receive additional Pumpkaboo Candy for catching Pumpkaboo during the event
What are your thoughts on the event? Will you participate?
