It is the day of the Scorpios, and Pokémon GO will be celebrating it in style.
Starting on October 21, 2023, there will be a full event dedicated to Skorupi, named Incense Day: Skorupi. During this day, Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Skorupi and its Shiny form.
The Bug-type Pokémon that will be attracted to Incense from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time:
- Caterpie
- Weedle
- Pinsir
- Yanma
- Wurmple
- Wimpod
- Scyther
- Dewpider
The Poison-type Pokémon that will be attracted to Incense from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. local time are the following:
- Ekans
- Zubat
- Gulpin
- Stunky
- Croagunk
- Skrelp
- Alolan Grimer
- Trubbish
There will also be Incense Day-themed Field Research tasks, where Trainers will focus on catching Bug-type and Poison-type Pokémon to get rewards such as additional encounters with Skorupi, Stardust, Ultra Balls and more.
The bonuses that will be active during the event are:
- Incense is more likely to attract Skorupi
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Skorupi
- Daily Adventure Incense lasts twice as long when activated during the event
