Pokémon GO Party Play feature not available yet, already has loads of bugs

Something that we didn’t think was possible, turned out to be in the Pokémon GO world. A feature that isn’t even live yet already has many, many problems.

As you know, the Party Play feature is scheduled to launch tomorrow, October 17, 2023, and it is about giving the ability Trainers to make groups out of four Trainers, and adventure together in the Pokémon GO world, raid together and even catch Pokémon together.

However, it already has some bugs. Some are serious, some are not. A few of them were luckily fixed before the big launch, but who knows what will happen tomorrow, right?

Onto the bugs, here are some of the known bugs, and their status:

  • Distance explored displayed on the end of the Party summary may not match between players – Resolved
  • Using an official Bluetooth device (such as GO Plus+) does not count towards Party Challengers or Party Tab Stats – Investigating
  • Instead of favorited Party challenges, default Party challenges appear on the activity page – Investigating

Welp, may the force be with us tomorrow.

What do you think? Will more bugs appear tomorrow when the feature launches?
