There were times when we all were obsessed with Pokémon GO, and still are, to be honest. We all had the best time and wished our parents would know the joy of catching a Pokémon that we all longed and wished for. We all wanted to share our emotions that came with the first catch ever, and the first ever earned PokéBall.
However, there are situations where parents get a bit more obsessed with the game than us. Just like u/MotorSuitable5093 and their mother. The player took to Reddit to express their worry and stated that the mom is utterly addicted to the game up to the point where she gets up at four in the morning just so she can catch Pokémon. While we all love to see our parents enjoying the game, a bit too much is a bit too much, right?
They also say that they don’t mind her playing the game, but it’s become a 24/7 obsession. It’s clear she sees it as more of a chore than a fun pastime, which just adds to her already high-stress levels. She’s always on edge.
