Pokémon GO players believe the Party Play was designed for Singaporean grandmothers

The Party Play feature rolled out today, and well, not everybody is a fan of it.
Yesterday, we had quite a bit of information regarding the Party Play feature, and it seemed like a great feature. Well, when it rolled out today, we were shocked to learn that the whole Party thing has a limit cap, and it lasts for one hour only.
For the ones tuning in now, Party Play is the newest Pokémon GO feature that allows four players to team up, and adventure together in the Pokémon GO world. Besides this, they can raid together (which can give them Party Power), finish challenges together and many other things that we at first thought were great.
Some players had harsh reactions to the feature roll-out, while others took the chance to throw some jokes around. Believe us, they were quite hilarious. But to be honest, this feature wasn’t something we all expected. We wanted a fun feature, that would last for a lifetime, not for an hour. What can we do in one hour, really?
This is definitely one of our favorite opinions regarding the Party Play feature:

All parties last more than one hour, however, it seems that this Party (Play) is designed for older people.
While we absolutely do not like the feature at the moment, we do think there is some space for it to become great, if Niantic is willing to do some tweaks to it.
What do you think? Have you checked out the feature?
