Pokémon GO Shroomish Spotlight Hour event featuring a large Stardust per catch bonus
It is not custom to see a Spotlight Hour event get these bonuses, but oh, here we are. We can’t complain though, the bonuses that will be featured are ah-mazing!
On October 10, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, Trainers will have the chance to catch Shroomish, the chosen Spotlight Hour Pokémon, numerous times for exactly one hour. The bonus that will be active is:
- 2x XP for evolving – Kind reminder to evolve Pokémon that require a small amount of candies for evolution to earn a lot of XP
During this exact Spotlight Hour, the earned XP for evolution will be 2000 XP, while with a Lucky Egg will be 4000 XP. On the other hand, a new Pokédex entry will bring you 4000 XP without a Lucky Egg, while with it, you will earn 8000 XP.
Now, for the hefty bonus. For the Shroomish Spotlight Hour, Trainers will have the chance to earn 500 Stardust for catching Shroomish, so if you want to play like Pokémon GO should be played, we would advise you to use Star Pieces and every other item that will increase the amount of Stardust earned for every Shroomish that you catch.
