Timed Research of course. That is the Pokemon GO style to defeat the whole group that we all despise. Or not. It is your choice on whose side you are on.

Starting October 26, 2023, Trainers will have the chance to dive right into a new Team GO Rocket Special Research that will grant many, many fun rewards that will most certainly be appreciated.

The Special Research will be available until the end of the Adventures Abound Season, which is December 1, 2023.

Showdown in the Shadow Team GO Rocket Special Research steps, tasks and rewards:

Step 1

• Catch 15 Pokemon – 5 Pinap Berries
• Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms – 10 PokeBalls
• Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts – 1 Mysterious Component
• Completion rewards – 1000 XP, 1000 Stardust, Phantump

Step 2

• Catch 15 Pokemon – 5 Pinap Berries
• Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10 Great Balls
• Defeat 6 Team GO Rocket Grunts – 3 Mysterious Component
• Completion rewards – 1500 XP, 1500 Stardust, Galarian Yamask

Step 3

• Defeat the Team GO Rocket Leader Arlo – 2500 XP
• Defeat the Team GO Rocket Leader Cliff – 2500 XP
• Defeat the Team GO Rocket Leader Sierra – 2500 XP
• Completion rewards – 2500 XP, 3000 Stardust, 1 Super Rocket Radar

Step 4

• Find the Team GO Rocket Boss – 10 Hyper Potion
• Battle the Team GO Rocket Boss – 10 Ultra Ball
• Defeat the Team GO Rocket Boss – 6 Max Revive
• Completion rewards – 300 XP, 3000 Stardust, Gengar

Step 5

• Claim Reward! – 2500 Stardust
• Claim Reward! – 2500 Stardust
• Claim Reward! – 2500 Stardust
• Completion rewards – 5000 XP, 3500 Stardust, 2 Silver Pinap Berry
