Some Android users are not getting notifications, bug still not fixed in Pokemon GO
Notifications are how we get notified about new things everywhere, and we all need that.
However, not getting any notifications from a game we all hold near and dear to our hearts is not something we want, but here we are, notification-less.
One Trainer has reported that they haven’t been getting any notifications for half a year, maybe more, even though it is on in their phone’s settings. Mind you, this is an Android user, but it did not specify which Android phone they are using.
Many Trainers came forward to say that this has been happening to them too, and they are all Android users. Some missed essential events, such as Spotlight Hour events, Raid Hour events and many more. They all followed the instructions on how to enable them in in-game settings, phone settings, and all of that. But nothing has been working so far.
Has this been happening to you? Did you fix it?
Thank you for bringing attention to this! It has been months since I got anything other than my autocatcher notifications and routes. Every other notification doesn’t show up at all! I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra. I spoke to support and they said to switch devices. This is my only device, Niantic!
Same for me on Galaxy S23 Ultra. No notifications since I got this device (no matter what I do). Worked fine on S10.
