Team GO Rocket Takeover Grunts October 2023 line-up, counters and rewards in Pokemon GO

Well, well, well. If it isn’t the menacing group named Team GO Rocket. They have always been found wherever there was trouble, and these days, indeed there is trouble in Pokemon GO.

As you may be aware, we are currently at the start of a dedicated event to the Team GO Rocket group (imagine, a dedicated event to chaos), where Trainers have many opportunities to save the poor Shadow Pokemon from the claws of the evil Grunts, Leaders and Boss. You know who I am talking about.

Trainers have the delight of catching Shadow Regigigas, battling Shiny Shadow Lugia in Shadow Raids, as well as seeing the new Pokemon line-up that Team GO Rocket Grunts are using during the event that will end on October 31, 2023. Team GO Rocket Grunts can be found on PokeStops, as well as in the big and black balloon that you can see roaming around the peaceful sky in Pokemon GO.

Especially for this, Team GO Rocket Grunts have a completely new line-up, and here is the full list of what Shadow Pokemon they are using, the best counters for it:

“Go, my super bug Pokemon!” – Bug-type Grunt

  • If you happen to see this sentence, then the Grunt is Bug-type Pokemon based, meaning that the best counters to defeat it are Charizard and Moltres, or any other Fire-type or Flying-type Pokemon
