Auto Catcher not Working on Android 13 and Above in Pokemon GO, Players Unable to Use the Feature

Finally, when we thought that the number of bugs decreased, a new bug emerged that greatly affected the gameplay of Pokemon GO players.

If you may remember, there was a bug that was present on Android phones, where they didn’t get any sort of notification on their phones regarding the game, events and other stuff that might be interesting to Trainers. Well, that was fixed, but another thing popped up, and it’s not good.

Some players reported that the Auto Catcher feature on their GO+ and GO++ doesn’t work on Android 13 and above whenever the game is put in the background or the screen is turned off, and the main culprit is the newest Pokemon GO update 0.287. A few of those players tested the game on an Android device with Android 12 and below, and the game worked perfectly fine. This gets us thinking, is the game the problem, or is the software at fault?

PSA: If Your Phone is Android 13 or Higher and You Use an Autocatcher, Don’t Upgrade to 0.289.0
