Trainers, the Pokémon GO Community Day is a significant event in the Pokémon GO calendar. Each month, players eagerly anticipate the announcement of the Community Day Pokémon, the opportunity to catch its shiny version, and the exclusive bonuses throughout the event. With twelve Community Days spread across the year, each event offers a unique experience.

Community Days occur once a month and last for three hours. During this event, the spotlight is on a specific Pokémon, which appears more frequently in the wild. This is an excellent chance for Trainers to catch this Pokémon and its shiny variant. Additionally, the featured Pokémon can learn a special move exclusive to the event. The Community Day also typically includes various bonuses, enhancing the overall experience.

A notable aspect of Community Day is the increased shiny rate. During these events, the chances of encountering a shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO are significantly boosted, with rates typically around 1 in 25. This makes Community Days an ideal time for shiny hunters to play.

As we approach the end of 2023, the last Community Day of the year is set for December 16 and 17. This presents an exciting opportunity to look back at all the Community Days and the featured Pokémon since the inception of the event.
