Arkane Lyon Reveals ‘Blade’ at The Game Awards 2023

Arkane Lyon, riding high on the success of their 2021 hit Deathloop, has revealed their latest endeavor at The Game Awards 2023: Blade. This announcement places Blade among an exciting Marvel Games lineup, joining Insomniac’s Spider-Man franchise, EA’s anticipated Black Panther game, SkyDance New Media’s Captain America project, and Insomniac’s Wolverine game.

Arkane Lyon, a studio revered for its innovative approach to game design, is no stranger to the action genre. Their previous projects include the critically acclaimed Deathloop and pivotal contributions to the Wolfenstein series in collaboration with Machine Games. The studio also developed Dishonored 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, lauded for their inventive gameplay and immersive narratives.

Blade promises to continue this tradition of innovation, described as a mature action-adventure single-player game. It allows players to experience the game their way, a philosophy that aligns with Arkane Lyon’s dedication to creating profound, player-focused experiences. While the trailer remains under wraps, the buzz around this title has been building, fueled by community speculation and anticipation.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
