Escape From Tarkov Arena Gets Balance Patch on December 22

Escape From Tarkov: Arena has recently deployed a technical update, bringing several balancing changes and adjustments to the gameplay. This update focuses on enhancing the player experience in various modes and introduces modifications to the loadouts of several characters.

While this does seem like a step in the right direction, there’s a lot more balancing changes needed.

TeamFight Mode Objective Capture Time Adjustments

  • Equator: Increased from 7 to 8 seconds.
  • Air Pit: Increased from 7 to 10 seconds.
  • Bay 5: Increased from 7 to 10 seconds.
  • Bowl: Increased from 7 to 10 seconds.
  • Sawmill: Increased from 7 to 12 seconds.


  • EOTech 553 holographic sight to the inventory.


  • Springfield Armory M1A’s EOTech HHS-1 hybrid sight has been replaced with a Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN 4×32 scope, accompanied by a Trijicon RMR reflex sight.


  • Added AFAK tactical individual first aid kit to the inventory.


  • HK MP5 submachine gun and all magazine ammo changed from 9×19 Green Tracer to 9×19 Luger CCI.


  • Glock 18C pistol 17-round magazines changed to 21-rounders.


  • Removed the F-1 grenade.


  • Added Analgin painkillers with 2 out of 4.


  • TV-110 plate carrier replaced with CPC MOD.1 plate carrier.
  • HK MP7A1 submachine gun 30-round magazines replaced with 40-round magazines.
  • Reduced the number of HK MP7A1 magazines from 5 to 4.
  • Removed Alu splint.


  • Golden Star balm replaced with Augmentin antibiotic pills.


  • Rifle Dynamics RD-704: EOTech HHS-1 hybrid sight replaced with ELCAN SpecterDR 1x/4x scope.
  • Added EOTech XPS3-2 holographic sight to the inventory.


  • AK-74: EOTech HHS-1 hybrid sight replaced with EOTech EXPS3 holographic sight.


  • Added Vortex Razor AMG UH-1 holographic sight to the inventory.
