Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Part 2 Field Research Tasks Offer Chance at Shiny Vanillite and Shiny Holiday Psyduck

Trainers, the second part of the Pokémon GO Winter Holiday event is in full swing, and it’s bringing a fresh batch of Field Research tasks. These tasks are your ticket to encountering some of the new costumed Pokémon, their shiny forms, and if luck is on your side, a Shiny Vanillite.

During the Winter Holiday 2023 Part 2 event, there are seven new Field Research tasks that you can complete. Completing these tasks could lead you to some exciting encounters, including Shiny Vanillite, Shiny Holiday Psyduck, and various costumed Pokémon. Let’s break down what these tasks are and the rewards they offer.

Winter Holiday Part 2 Field Research Tasks and Rewards

  • Catch 5 Ice-type Pokémon: 5 Poké Balls, 3 Ultra Balls, 3 Razz Berries, or 3 Pinap Berries
  • Catch 7 Ice-type Pokémon: Encounter Pokémon like Shellder, Snover, and Vanillite
  • Catch 5 different species of Pokémon: Holiday Spheal and Holiday Stantler
  • Catch 10 different species of Pokémon: Encounter Holiday Psyduck and Jynx
  • Win a raid: Lapras and Holiday Glaceon
  • Open 5 Gifts: Encounter Holiday Pikachu and Alolan Vulpix
  • Send 3 Gifts with a sticker attached to each: Receive rewards like Crabrawler, 25 Mega Abomasnow Energy, or 25 Mega Glalie Energy
