RPG Maker WITH Debuting its Switch Version in Japan Next Year

Having all the freedom in the world is amazing, and it is even better when there is freedom to do whatever you want in a game. A rare glimpse to be honest.

RPG Maker WITH is set to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 11, 2024, with a price tag of 8,580 yen, according to listings at retailers such as Biccamera and Neowing. This upcoming installment in the RPG Maker series, developed and published by Gotcha Gotcha Games, will mark a significant shift to console gaming, enabling a broader audience to delve into the art of game creation.

Breaking away from the traditional solo experience, RPG Maker WITH will introduce the revolutionary “Asset Sharing” feature, fostering a sense of community among aspiring game creators. No longer confined to isolated creation, users will be able to collaboratively design games, share maps and events even before completion. This innovation will transcend the boundaries of previous RPG Maker entries, where sharing was limited to finished games.

The RPG Maker series, tracing its roots back to 1990 as “RPG Tsukuru” in Japan, has evolved into a global phenomenon. RPG Maker WITH is tailored for the Nintendo Switch, ensuring accessibility and ease for a generation of a hundred million creators.

Well, players, it is time to get together and design some masterpieces.
