Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day Pokémon GO, Complete Guide, Best Counters, Weaknesses, and Shiny Odds

Trainers, Hisuian Typhlosion is making its Pokémon GO debut during the upcoming Raid Day event, and many players want to know how to catch it.

Hisuian Typhlosion will appear in three-star Raids, and the only way to catch it is by defeating it in a Raid. Hisuian Typhlosion can be Shiny, so now is the perfect time to learn more about its weaknesses, the best Pokémon to use against it, and the odds of getting a Shiny Hisuian Typhlosion.

The Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day is a limited-time event set to go live today, January 14, from 2 to 5 pm local time. This event introduces Hisuian Typhlosion into the game, including its Shiny form, and free event-exclusive bonuses. Additionally, there are paid experiences/bonuses that will remain effective after the event ends, up until 10 pm local time.

The free, event-exclusive bonuses include:

  • Up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
    The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 from Saturday, January 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to Sunday, January 14, 2024, 7:00 p.m. PST
  • Increased chances of encountering Shiny Hisuian Typhlosion
  • Hisuian Typhlosion appears more often in Tier 3 Raids

The paid bonuses are:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
  • Increased chances to receive Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

Battling Hisuian Typhlosion in a Raid should not cause you any problems. This Pokémon, a Fire/Ghost-type, is weak to Ground, Rock, Ghost, Water, and Dark-type attacks and can be easily defeated solo. But remember, you must use the best counters with the right moves.
